Why come to an open house?

When we purchased Stonegate back in 2013, we were so excited to be able to work with more couples on their wedding days. It had already been a blessing at Samuel Cedars to work with so many couples since 2006 so we were looking forward to it! It became a little bit difficult to do that logistically when trying to juggle meetings with 120+ couples all needing one-on-one in person time at the two separate venues. Thus started the monthly open houses!

The open house allows for each of our couples to come to the venue at the very least once a month from the time they book to the actual wedding date (which we all know could be up to two years worth of open houses!). This is a great time for them to bring any of their photographers, wedding planners, or great aunts who really need to see the venue and ask us questions before the big day. While we can still do appointments outside of the monthly open houses, there are many reasons why coming to an open house might give you more bang for your buck, especially in those early stages of planning:

Why come to an open house:

• Free food! The wonderful Catering Creations always provides free samples to everyone who comes to the open house. They try to change it up each month to make sure if you have a specific thing you are needing to taste, you can easily do so at one of the open houses! (Even if you are not using Catering Creations for your wedding, you are still welcome to taste the food)

• Going along with that, free cake! Celebrations by Sonja is usually at our open houses to provide cake samples! You will not be sorry if you choose her for your wedding day - but don’t take our word for it. Come to one of the open houses and taste for yourself!

• There are many other wonderful vendors to talk to and get advice for your big day!

• We try to do set ups for different sizes of weddings just to give an idea of how versatile the space is.
