And they lived happily ever after…six months later!

Like the rest of the world, the wedding industry was definitely hit hard by COVID during 2020 (and still during 2021). To be honest, it has been tough. Between cancelled weddings, postponed weddings, and overall decreased numbers for all of the weddings that were actually able to happen, we have definitely had a hard time recognizing the good and not just focusing on the bad. Overall, we were lucky enough to only have 2 cancellations due to COVID. We were able to find new dates for 32 couples, most of which were able to happen within a few months of their original date! For a few couples though, the happy ending had to be postponed a bit farther out.

Hannah & Jesus were originally scheduled to be married at Stonegate Glass Chapel on September 5, 2020. While most of the US had gone back to at least a new kind of normal by September, there were plenty of other places in the world that were still completely shut down. This was the case for Jesus’ family in Brazil. Due to the pandemic, they would not be able to attend the wedding if it were not postponed. And thus, September 5, 2020 became March 13, 2021 for Hannah & Jesus! They were kind enough to share some photos from their special day below :)
