Intimate Spring Wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel | Brittney & Spencer

Some wedding days just feel right—Brittney & Spencer’s was one of them. Their March 10, 2025 wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel was simple, sweet, and beautifully relaxed, with just 20 of their closest family and friends by their side.

It was one of those rare early spring days in Missouri where everything aligns—gorgeous weather, extra daylight (thank you, Daylight Savings!), and the perfect mix of calm and celebration. Captured by Shalyn O’Neal Photography, the whole day was intimate and effortless.

The Details

While the day was understated, the details were anything but. Brittney carried one of the most stunning faux floral bouquets we've ever seen—lush, delicate, and so realistic you’d never guess it wasn’t fresh. It perfectly complemented her soft blue color scheme and added a beautiful touch of elegance to their portraits and ceremony.

The Ceremony

Brittney & Spencer exchanged vows inside the chapel, surrounded by soft natural light and the warmth of their closest loved ones. The light blue and white color palette added a gentle pop of color, and the simplicity of the décor let the emotion of the day shine through.

Portraits Around the Grounds

Even with a smaller timeline, we had time to capture everything—family portraits, sweet moments with their bridal party of just two on each side, and relaxed, joyful shots of Brittney & Spencer around the chapel. The early spring light gave their portraits such a soft, romantic feel.

“Reception” Highlights

While this wasn’t a full evening reception, we still got to sneak in a few special moments: a first dance and a touching father-daughter dance on the patio before guests wrapped up the celebration. The smaller guest count and intimate setting made every moment feel that much more meaningful.

Brittney & Spencer’s day was a beautiful reminder that sometimes less is more. Their focus on what mattered most—their love, their families, and the start of their life together—made this early spring wedding at Stonegate one we’ll remember for a long time.

Thinking about planning a small, meaningful wedding of your own? We'd love to show you how special intimate weddings can be here.
