Family-Centered Spring Wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel | Brittany & Alex
Some weddings are just unforgettable in all the right ways—Brittany & Alex’s April 26, 2025, wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel was one of those days. It was filled with love, personality, and intentional details that made the day deeply meaningful and beautifully emotional.
Captured by Shalyn O’Neal Photography, their wedding brought together heartfelt family moments, soft spring florals, and thoughtful touches that made every part of the day feel true to them.
Getting Ready Moments
The morning started with laughter, excitement, and one of the most supportive bridal parties we’ve seen—including Brittany’s brother, who stepped into his role as “Man of Honor” with confidence, style, and a whole lot of heart. The energy was upbeat and joyful, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
The Details
Their spring color palette of blush pink and navy was the perfect balance of soft and classic. Florals from Linda’s Flowers added a fresh, romantic feel to both the ceremony and reception spaces. But perhaps the most unique detail of the day? Custom birdhouses built by the groom’s father as favors for the families in attendance—Brittany’s idea, symbolizing love and new beginnings. A sweet and memorable touch.
The Ceremony
Inside the chapel, Brittany & Alex exchanged vows surrounded by pink florals, navy accents, and their closest family and friends. One of the most touching moments came just before the ceremony began—Brittany’s father, who had recently been wheelchair-bound, walked her partway down the aisle and even stood beside her during their father-daughter dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
Portraits Around the Grounds
Even with overcast skies, Brittany & Alex’s portraits were full of warmth and emotion. The soft, diffused light added a romantic feel to every shot and made the pink and navy tones pop beautifully. From quiet moments together outside the chapel to joyful photos with their bridal party, every image captured their connection and the love that surrounded them.
Reception Highlights
From the classic meal by Catering Creations to the stunning cake by Sugar Leaf Bakery, the reception was full of warmth, laughter, and celebration. Guests enjoyed meaningful toasts, sweet dances, and plenty of happy tears (and happy dancing!) before sending the couple off into their next chapter.
